Salzburg Cathedral


One of the most iconic buildings of the Salzburg skyline is the cathedral. Originally constructed in 774 but rebuilt after a fire in 1181, the cathedral is one of Salzburg’s most sacred and important churches. With its magnificent facade and mighty dome, the cathedral also represents the most impressive early Baroque influence north of the Alps.
