The Palace and Garden of Mirabell


In the heart of Salzburg is the magnificent Mirabell Palace and gardens. Built in the 17th-century, the Baroque-style palace and gardens have been popular attractions for tourists and locals alike. Built by the Prince-Archbishop of Salzburg for his mistress, Salome Alt, the palace’s Marble Hall is now regarded as one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the world. The grandeur of the gardens is perhaps what makes this one of the most beautiful locations in all of Salzburg.
