The Danish royal family is one of the oldest
living monarchies in the world. Headed by Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II, the
royal family tree can be traced back over 1,000 years ago to the first Viking
kings of Denmark. The royal family currently resides in the Amalienborg Palace
in Copenhagen, where the family has resided since the 18th century. Visitors
can tour the palace along with experiencing the daily changing of the guards at
noon.

I visited here as a child, I would love to visit again and build new memories.
