Nyhavn Canal in Denmark


Once a bustling port, Nyhavn Canal is now one of the most famous and iconic locations in Denmark. Built in 1673, the canal used to serve an essential role in commerce and trade for Copenhagen. Since then, it has been transformed into a lively hangout characterized by colorful buildings, shops, and restaurants. Today, historical wooden sailing ships line both sides of the Nyhavn Canal, giving visitors a chance to marvel at the beautifully restored vessels.
