When you think of Canada, you probably picture
blankets of snow and cold winters. Depending
on where you go, you're not entirely wrong. Toronto is located just across Lake
Ontario from New York state, so it generally has four distinct seasons in a
year. Cold winters melt into warm summers opening up the city to various
activities year-round.
Depending on what type of vacation you're planning for, you'll want to check the weather first. If you want to hike and spend time on the lake, I'd recommend visiting Toronto from May to September. If you're wanting a winter wonderland and don't mind packing a parka or two, then the winter months are for you.
