Hermitage Fun Facts

Situated in the heart of St Petersburg is the famous Hermitage Museum. Constructed in the early 1800s, the museum is known to be one of the oldest and largest classic museums of all time. It currently houses over three million pieces of art dating as far back as the Stone Age. The museum is comprised of five different buildings, with the main building being the former winter palace of the Romanovs.
