Brazil is considered to be the most biodiverse country in
the world, due partly because of its sheer size and diverse ecosystems. The
world's largest rainforest is found here along with the Amazon and Pantanal
(the world's largest tropical wetland).
Together with what's left of the Atlantic rainforest, these
ecosystems maintain a surprising abundance and diversity of wildlife. In the
ecosystem, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, mammals, and fungal species
thrive. Below are ten animals visitors will get the chance to see in Brazil.
Toco toucan
Anteater
Three-toed sloth
Piranha
Capybara
Armadillo
Yacara caiman
Poison dart frog
Golden lion tamarin
Jaguar
Mother nature is a wonderful thing, and I want to help you get to Brazil and enjoy all she has to offer.
