Sure, New York is known for its pizza, and Chicago has its deep dish, but neither city can stand up to an authentic Italian pizza. In fact, there's a large difference between Italian pizza and American pizza, and it all starts with the crust. Most Italian pizzerias skillfully stretch out the dough to the point where it resembles a cracker with tomato sauce and cheese on it. It's so thin and light that you could eat a whole pizza by yourself.
If you want to learn how to make pizza the Italian way, I'll book a private cooking lesson for you during your trip to Florence. DM or email me today to start planning.
