What is it like to Swim in the Dead Sea


Imagine swimming in a bowl of Jell-O. That's pretty much what it's like to "swim" in the Dead Sea. Due to the water's high salinity, you are almost suspended in the water and will have to do little to no work to stay afloat. If you’re afraid of fish touching your feet in the ocean or lakes, you don't have to worry about that here. The water is too salty for sea creatures, or plants, to live hence the Dead Sea name.
