Let's Get Traveling

The Caribbean and Mexico are open for business and welcoming guests seeking to escape the daily grind with some fun and relaxation. Since most resorts are currently booked at a reduced occupancy, meaning less crowds and more privacy, your own tropical oasis awaits you.

What can you expect? Generally, staying at a resort will feel similar to when you are out and about in your home community – guests are encouraged to wear masks in designated areas and practice social distancing. The enhanced health and safety measures at resort properties will give you peace of mind to ensure your experience is enjoyable. These enhancements will vary by property and as your travel advisor, I can prepare you for what to expect on your vacation. Here’s a list of some safety measures you can expect while on a resort vacation:
  1. Reduced Occupancy: This means less crowds and more privacy on your vacation

  2. Health Screenings: Temperature checks, thermal scans, hand and shoe sanitization, disinfecting of luggage upon arrival

  3. Reduced Contact Check-In/Check-Out: Your choice of online check-in and check-out, or in-person check-in and check-out with plexiglass or screen separators

  4. Increased Resort Vehicle Sanitation: Regularly disinfected resort transfer vehicles operating at limited occupancy with sanitization kits available

  5. Certified Cleaning in Guest Rooms: Guest rooms sealed with a badge to certify that they have been deep cleaned and thoroughly sanitized between stays

  6. Guest Room Safety Modifications: Removal of nonessential high-touch items that can’t be disinfected, while additional in-room amenities are being sanitized and vacuum-sealed between stays

  7. Additional Hygiene Stations Available: Hand sanitizer conveniently placed at restaurants, spa, gym, elevators and guest rooms

  8. Enhanced Cleaning and Sanitization: Increased frequency of cleaning and sanitization measures in public areas such as elevators, restrooms, restaurants, spa, gym, handrails throughout the Property

  9. Elevator Usage Modifications: Monitored limited occupancy in elevators

  10. Dining Modifications: Buffets have been replaced with à la carte dining, or in many instances they are now full-service

From adults-only to family-friendly, tranquil to active, all-inclusive to inclusive, there are many different resort options that are open for you to enjoy. I can help you find the best property and destination that meets your needs and will exceed your expectations.

As your travel advisor, I can provide guidance on what is needed before you embark on your dream vacation, as well as assistance on getting tested prior to your return to the U.S. While most of the Caribbean islands and Mexico are open, every country has its own unique set of protocols that must be followed prior to and upon your arrival. While vacationing abroad at a resort may be a little different right now, it still provides a much-needed respite from today’s reality.
Vacations are what bring us together. #LetsGetTraveling
