Soap is as iconic to Provence as
the baguette is to the country of France. You cannot help but see it everywhere
while visiting Provence. It’s in the markets, small boutiques, and on the
shelves at local grocery stores. Like so many aspects of Provence life, the
history of soap goes back hundreds of years, and the tradition still lives on
