Day Trip to Pisa

The leaning tower of Pisa is perhaps one of the most whimsical monuments in Italy. Despite taking centuries to build, the ill-conceived design plans of the tower are what cause it to lean precariously to one side. Located just outside of Florence, the leaning tower has attracted visitors to the town of Pisa ever since it was built.

While efforts have been made to keep the tower from toppling, the creative photo opportunities are enough of an argument for keeping the slight tilt a while longer!
