Arpoador Beach flanks Ipanema beach on one end and Leblon
Beach on the other end. It's regarded as one of the leading centers of activity
for the city of Rio. It's full of wealthy residents and considered one of the
most expensive places to live in Brazil. It's famous for its modern galleries,
bookstores, and movie theatres.
Make a stop at H. Stern, one of the most famous jewelry
stores in the Ipanema area, and take a tour of their museum. It's not only
free, but you will receive a little box of semi-precious and precious stones as
a gift. Every Sunday, the Hippie Fair is held with sellers offering a variety
of stuff from wooden dolls to swizzle sticks topped with parrots.
I'd love to help you plan your trip, so be sure to call or email me when you're ready to start planning.
