Located in Jerusalem's old city, the Western Wall is a sacred place of prayer and pilgrimage to Jewish people. The Western Wall dates back to the second century B.C. It’s the only remaining retaining wall that used to surround Temple Mount. All are welcome to visit the wall and pray, but men and women must be dressed modestly.
