Florence is a city that
is teeming with Italian history and culture. Everywhere you turn, you'll find
plenty to see and experience. However, there are some sights you absolutely
must-see. The Duomo is one of the most recognizable structures in the city and
hard to miss thanks to its size. For an equally as impressive structure, head
across the iconic Ponte Vecchio for the Pitti Palace. Once home to the Medicis,
the palace features the sweeping Boboli Gardens, which are a great place to
picnic and spend the afternoon.
